There really are few things sexier than a woman who consistently smells amazing. To that end, I'm always on the lookout for new scents to add to my signature scent rotation. Here are a few of the fragrances that are floating about in my arsenal.
(clockwise from the top)
J'Adore - This is the workhorse of my fragrance collection. J'adore's rare mix of subtlety and staying power makes it an indispensable part of my collection. It's delicate enough for me to wear to work without offending my coworkers, but it's still potent enough to evoke a "you smell amazing" from the hubby at the end of a long work day. Also, this fragrance smells amazing on everyone!
Douglas Hannant de Robert Piguet - This is my weekend and special occasion perfume. I've been wearing it for almost a year now, and still get compliments every time I put it on. I haven't been able to find it in any of the larger stores, so I usually order it online. I know buying a fragrance online is a little iffy, but it's definitely worth the risk.
Serge Lutens L'Eau eau de Parfum - This is technically a unisex fragrance, but the ladies in my life love this fragrance a lot more than the men. It's an amazingly clean fragrance that's perfect for the days when you don't want to smell like you're wearing perfume.
Thierry Mugler Alien - This is the perfume I wear while painting the town red. I usually reach for Alien on nights where I anticipate a lot of dancing and misting (aka sweating). I swear to you, the more you mist the better this stuff smells. Plus, most of my girlfriends swear that it drives men crazy.
Diptyque Eau Duelle - This is my newest obsession. A really clean smell that lasts FOREVER. It can come off a little intense in the beginning, but that's a small price to pay for the full day of smelling fabulous.
Serge Lutens Bois Et Fruits - If you're the kind of girl that wants her fragrance to step into a room before she does, then this is for you. Though I'm usually not a fan of scents like this, there's something about this fragrance that's ostentatious and demure at the same time. It definitely smells grown up, but in the most playful way possible.
