A great alternative to Pocket Carry.
I’ve always carried some sort of pocket knife, which is easy when you wear jeans. But due to work I’ve swapped to khakis and between with how heavy phones are nowadays and all the other stuff jangling around my pocket, my pocket knife was having a hard time finding a spot. I’ve been looking for a handsome alternative to allow me to carry my EDC without weighing down my pants. I’ve bought from pirate goods before and know they have good quality leather so I gave this a go. So far, I’ve been very happy with it sitting on my belt and it looks professional enough to wear at work. The Large nicely fits my TiRant Ultra and my Streamlight microstream. It does NOT fit my Leatherman Arc (that may need to get updated in the sizing). Leatherman Arcs are 0.68 wide and the guidance for Large is up to 0.6.

Most edges are raw or painted, not polished.

I learned a different way from an old shoemaker I met in my grandma’s village. He’d stopped making shoes years before, but he still remembered the formula. He walked me through it once. I lost touch with him not long after.

It took me 5 years to get it right.

Now every edge on every piece gets seven hand-polished passes. No paint sealing it shut. Just leather, worked until it holds the shine on its own.

Paint cracks because it sits on top. Mine doesn’t, because there’s nothing sitting on top.

Run your thumb along it. That’s the whole pitch.
