Цей логотип міг бути звичайним логотипом.
Але ми вирішили зробити його з каменю.
Ми хотіли, щоб у просторі Manufacture de Lin було щось, що існуватиме не один сезон і не одну колекцію.
Тому взяли мармур і зробили його мозаїкою — вручну, шматочок за шматочком.
Ми самі кололи камінь на маленькі фрагменти [ тесери ], іноді всього по 2–3 мм, понад 10 000 шматочків. Потім викладали кожен фрагмент окремо, підбираючи форму, розмір і місце.
На все пішло кілька місяців.
Мабуть, тому для нас це вже давно не просто логотип.
Це час, який ми прожили.
Діти, які були поруч.
І маленькі шматочки каменю, з яких поступово склалося щось ціле.
Тепер він вмурований у стіну нашого шоуруму Manufacture de Lin.

But we decided to make it out of stone.
We wanted something in our Manufacture de Lin space that would exist beyond a season or a collection.
So we made it as a mosaic — by hand, one piece at a time.
We split the marble ourselves into tiny tesserae, sometimes only 2–3 mm in size. Then we placed each piece individually, choosing its shape, size and position.
There are more than 10,000 pieces of stone in it.
It took us several months.
Maybe that’s why, for us, it stopped being just a logo a long time ago.
It’s the time we lived through.
The hands that made it.
The children who were there.
And thousands of small pieces of stone that slowly became one whole.
Now it is set into the wall of our Manufacture de Lin showroom.
Not just a logo.
A piece of our story.
