Looking for Philanthropists and well-wishers to join us in our efforts to construct a modest twelve roomed facility for our International Volunteers who usually visits us to assist in projects implementation and others on practicum to excel in their studies -see below the detailed guest house facility plans:

Healthcare Volunteer Uganda HVU is a community based Volunteer organization which do implement community projects in hilly areas of Kitumbi Kassanda district Uganda. We engage volunteer charities and we sign partnership agreements before. HVU,after registering locally, we opened up in 2007 and however, the first team of volunteers came from Indiana and was hosted in may 2010. HVU, registered to work with the vulnerable women and children through using volunteers by organizing international Volunteer placements and also hosting students on practicum. The reasons why we need international volunteers are that, there are very organized and committed individuals, With alot of skills and experiences we need and we can't For sure, we can't pay for them in terms of paying salaries, therefore we shall continue hosting volunteers in our programs. Therefore, we have realized the need of a good accommodations facility which are good accommodations facility. Since 2010 in most of our Volunteer reports this issue has appeared so many times. Hence forward we have wanted to look for funding support of £125,000 and as our budgeted need we have planned to construct and give peace to the Volunteers and they continue to come to us. With that therefore, we call upon all of you our great supporters and friends the world over to support us financially, materially, knowledge wise on this issue of Constructing this Modest Twelve roomed guest house facility.The descriptions of the volunteers'guest house below gives a quick picture of the entire facility we want and as per the recommendations received from various Volunteers reports we hosted from time to t

Healthcare Volunteer looking for philanthropic minded group of people to help with us in our efforts to construct a modest twelve roomed Guest house facility for our international Volunteers. This accommodation facility issue have dragged on for a long time since 2010. This is the reason why we have strongly wanted to construct the twelve roomed Guest house facility. Kindly join us to solve this long time Obstacle towards our volunteer program work. Below is the detailed guest house facility plans;
1) It will have ten rooms for volunteers to sleep in and each room to have a capacity to accommodate two volunteers at a time.The other two rooms are , the dinning and sitting rooms respectively.
2) The Volunteer guest house will have a sitting room with three sofar sets Capacity to help volunteers to sit in and discuss on issues they have.
3) it will have a dinning room with three sets of seats capacity to help the Volunteers eat their food in an organized manner and place.
4)It will have three flush toilets attached inside and bathrooms are central in nature but In other wards the ten rooms will not be self contained. This can help to reduce on the costs on construction.
5)We shall have a pit latrine outside the guest house to act as a stand by facility in case of anything they will use that.
6) On the Volunteer guest house facility, there will be a three stored rooms outside. One room for a cook, another for cooking purposes and the last one for storage purposes.
7) On the Volunteer guest house, there are shall be fixed on two plastic water tanks for rain water harvesting and to have reliable water to the volunteers at on site. The tanks shall be of 10,000 litres capacity each.
8i) On the Guesthouse shall be fixed on a perimeter wall around the wholesale facility to give security to the visitors/Volunteers or whole facility.
8ii)In another development therefore, there will be on the guesthouse a shed. The volunteers the volunteers will use it to pass time especially during sunny days after work. After doing much of their work in the room they can do other work while in the shed.
9)The facility will have to be Electrified with electricity and Solar power to help give light and power to Volunteers.
10) all the 10 rooms shall need 24beds, beddings and other things.
11) We need to drill solar or Electricity water to help the Volunteers to have a confirtable and life giving home. For this water to fixed well hear, we shall need one plastic tank of 10,000 ltrs fixed at a high elevation to supply water where it is need at the facility.
With the above therefore, we kindly request you to support us with £125,000 to have all what we described above to be put to guest house facility minus items 9 and 10 . We have hosted Volunteers from UK, Japan, Australia, USA, Asia, Europe, South America and other countries. If we get the funding support of GBP:£125,000 we need for the Construction and fixing all what is needed for the guest house to be put in place and start functioning properly. The volunteer accommodations problem will be a done deal and shall not be a problem to us any more. Thanks to you .

We want to put furniture in our newly constructed HVU offices and open it officially. Kindly support us and solve this problem.
We need furniture of tables and cupboards. plus 2 laptops and1 camera .
