Now, I'm into questionable territory. I no longer remember if I've posted this before, so IF I have, consider it a review. I made it about 4 years ago out of African fabric brought to me by a helper to Cindi Mendoza of CINDI'S HOPE - a ministry my Church supports monthly. It was put aside but brought out a couple months ago to help raise funds for a small group headed to Africa this coming summer.

My Cathedral Window quilt. I've always been fascinated by the end result and esp with the technique of making them. For my own, I decided to place the colors around a center block and then choose some of my favorite fabrics/colors for each row as it grew outward. I never knew how big I was going to make it, I just kept going. Then, one day, I decided I wasn't having as much fun anymore . . . so I decided it was just the "right size" at the point and . . . quit. :)

Sew Promises made this Military Appreciation quilt and was able to gift it to this man before he passed. It touched all of us that his wife chose to have it in his memorial service.

A simple pattern, granted, but we needed a "bereavement" quilt asap. I'd never quilted anything in the grid-lock way before so was easy and fast. I think it was still effective. Label had a couple of her husband's favorite verses.

This is a Sew Promises ministry quilt. I look for simply (quickly pieced) quilts that are still very pretty. We really liked the way this turned out. Went to a lady whose house had burned.

Two years ago, something changed in the way to download pics to fb. I could no longer record the quilts done - by me as a business, or by my Sew Promises group as ministry. I'm going to try to rectify that this year. There have been so many noteworthy quilts to share . . . and I will try to learn the change.
