‼️PSA: Highlights don’t always have to be bright blonde! ‼️

This beauty wanted to brighten up her look with highlights, and we were cutting through a plum colored box dye. I lifted as light as I felt comfortable going without damaging her hair, added some PH bonder, a shadow root and some lowlites, a toner, and her look was freshened up for fall! 🍂🍁

These ribbons of color turned out beautifully. But let this be a lesson, we don’t always know how light we will be able to get you when we are lifting through box dye!

Trust your stylist 💇‍♀️… and trust the process!

This loyal client came in wanting her hair to look like her daughter’s natural…I’ve been coloring her hair a level 3 *darkest brown for almost 3 years! 🫣
And when I say the look on her face when I turned her around was worth it all, it really was!! 🤗
Being a full time mommy now and working in the salon very part time doesn’t leave me with much time to always do hair appointments like this. I enjoyed every moment of this hair transition tonight. 😍🔥
