Some of you may have already seen the news, but now that it's official, I can finally share it here, too.

After 10+ wonderful years with the shop, I'm excited to begin a new chapter as Marketing Director for the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council.

I’m so looking forward to serving our community in a different capacity, and I’m so looking forward to taking you along with me!!

The Abilene Cultural Affairs Council is excited to announce that Addie Helms is our new marketing director! Addie is an ACU graduate with a degree in English and a master's in English with an emphasis in creative writing and most recently had her own business, Addie's Boutique. She is excited to be a part of the Abilene community in a new capacity!
Addie will be working with ACAC's long-time marketing director Sidney Levesque until her last day June 16. She and her family will be moving to Tampa. Help us welcome Addie to the ACAC team! 🤩

Well, friends—we did it.

Thank you for helping us empty this space of all the “stuff” over the past few days. Thank you for FILLING this space over the past 10+ years. Because in the end, it’s simply a space. You were the ones who made it a PLACE. ❤️

I’ve told you time and again—without you, there is no us.

Without you, this little dream of mine would never have become a reality.

Without you, there wouldn’t have been 10+ years of fun, fashion, friendship, laughter, stories, hugs, encouragement, and community to celebrate.

And without you, my life would be so much less than it is today.

Thank you for every purchase, every conversation, every kind word, every live sale, every event, every shared story, every prayer, every moment. Thank you for the ways you loved this little shop—and for the ways you loved me and each other within its walls.

You have imprinted yourselves onto my heart, and I am a better woman for knowing you.

Thank you for being the kind of women who make the world a gentler, stronger, kinder, wiser, and more beautiful place simply by being in it.

I’m proud to know you. I’m proud to love you. And I’m proud to call you mine—forever. ❤️

Well, friends…this is it. Two final days open at Addie’s — Tuesday & Wednesday, 10–6 — and what remains now are the pieces that helped make this space feel like home: fixtures, mirrors, plants, racks, jewelry displays, tubs of Christmas, and a whole lot of memories. In all of this dismantling, our little shop is looking like a space, rather than a place….because you are the ones who make it the space it became. ❤️
