I’ve been setting sewing aside to focus on painting but I needed something fun to wear for the banquet next week...this little military jacket got “artist-fied” with some new embroidery details and buttons and is now ready to wear!!!

Found this super cute hand made desk with storage and dry erase board at - it had been well loved and well used! Lots of sanding and a fresh coat of paint (a color I had on hand that actually looks like a green chalk board - perfect!) and now it’s ready to wheel into a new work space...so cute and I love thinking about a new owner loving it for many more years to come! available at my booth at .mkt

If you were ever pondering how many photographs you can take from the passenger window on an eight minute drive to dinner the answer is not enough. These beasties had me hanging out the window as hubs was driving...I could feel the eye roll action was rather heavy behind me...now which one shall we paint ?!? (I talk to myself...the studio is very quiet...) **f

Dropped off a couple cool pieces at my shop inside .mkt !!! The first piece is the top detail from a 100 year old French Armoire!!! It actually looked amazing above the kitchen window, the front door, the hall archway...in MY house...but we will see if anyone else recognizes and appreciates those beautiful hand carved details! The long shelves are made from the same antique armoire! They are the old sides - that would have faced the wall! There are still original numbers and labels on there - adds such character!!

First real fire in the new fireplace during the first of the season! This has been one of my favorite makeovers in our house. We did the wood about four years ago - it’s actually reclaimed roller skating rink floor! Although I need to trim out the mantle I am so in love with the new look!
