What a perfect day to celebrate National Farmer’s & Indigenous Peoples at the same time. I can’t think of a better person who wrapped up both titles in one, our Papa. The legacy he left us all continues through our family. The love for our heritage and the land. Land he also fought for in Iwo Jima during World War 2.

Born and raised in Kaw City, OK, a member of the Kaw Nation with Osage ties as well. His love for God’s creation, family, and country will forever be engrained into our lineage.
Raising crops and kids was his life and he did it so well. Thank you for your values and the love you gave each of us.

I know if he were here today, he’d tag along to every estate sale I’d want to go to, any sale barn my dad would haul cattle to, and all the livestock shows my girls showed in. 🌾
