Bailey Baby has NEW launches making their debut at the Machias Wild Blueberry Festival this weekend… but that’s not even the best part! 👀💙

We are SO excited to announce that Bailey Baby now carries Lilly, the Downeast Lobstah, written by local author Sara Lucas-Briggs! 🦞📚

You may have spotted Sara hanging out with us yesterday, taking pictures, meeting families, and signing copies of her book — and you guys absolutely LOVED her because WE SOLD OUT yesterday! 🤯🦞

But don’t worry! Sara will be back with Bailey Baby TODAY, so if you missed your chance to meet her or grab a signed copy, come see us!

🦞 So, what is Lilly, the Downeast Lobstah about?

Lilly is a small Downeast Maine lobstah living in the cool waters along our rocky coast. She’s young, unsure of herself, and quickly realizes there is a whole lot to learn about surviving in the sea.

Thankfully, Lilly discovers she isn’t alone. 💙 She finds friends who teach her, guide her, and help her learn to trust herself and those around her.

When Lilly and her friends eventually find themselves caught in a lobstah trap, Lilly is tossed back into the ocean because she’s too small to keep. This time, though, being on her own isn’t quite so scary. She carries everything her friends taught her and has the confidence to head back out to sea, ready for her next adventure and to make new friends along the way. 🦞🌊

It’s a sweet, truly Downeast Maine story about friendship, growing up, learning from others, and discovering that being small doesn’t mean you can’t be brave. ❤️

And we absolutely LOVE being able to add another locally created Maine treasure to Bailey Baby!
