Had a chance to speak with a few amazing artist during the opening of our Winter Exhibitions last Weekend in Akron, Oh.

Exhibit is in the Welcome Gallery . It’s feels very familiar no matter what side of Akron you’ve grown up. I can appreciate his point of view but it’s even more amazing in person.

Exhibit is in the Horizon Gallery on the 3rd floor . Her art is a reflection of her story which you’ll have to experience for yourself. I loved the feeling I left with after viewing her work 🔥

Stop in to Summit ArtSpace on purpose and see all the amazing artist for yourself. 💯

Still not recuperated from the weekend. So many amazing things happened.

Met on Saturday and had a chance to open up on camera about being a multi medium artist 🙌🏽 and promoted .o.h.w I think for the first time in this type of setting.

Sunday was “Artist Sunday”and was the hot spot to promote it. Myself, and our executive director Heather Meeker all showed up bright and early to speak with Channel 5 news live on air 🔥

God’s been good to me - (selfish plug) but real talk, I’m grateful and humbled to have a voice and be blessed with so many opportunities to inspire 💯

This weekend as come and gone but Inspiration is forever present.

What a great weekend at Summit Artspace. As an organizational unit we were able to speak to the importance of Artist Sunday, and encourage shopping with local artists. We even had the chance on live tv to promote faith with ABC 5 News early Sunday Morning at 8am.

God is good! We want to thank everyone who made their way to see us during Artist Sunday and all of the new friends we met because of the interview.

We've all heard of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and even Cyber Monday. However, "Artist Sunday" is now gaining national attention.

Our date night Downtown began at Boiling House and only a block away we stumbled on .

It’s so great to see another minority business open in downtown Akron. 👏🏾

They present a very family friendly place to be creative. So looking forward to coming back on purpose with the whole fam and get our hands dirty. 💯

About Last Night 🤗

So with this year been a worldwind of excitement, stress 🤬 and revelation, everything has shifted - which has yeilded so much hope for the future.

Yesterday, our home hosted Artwalk and after 6 whole months we were able to begin introducing a few of our long awaited designs. Last night was all about “Forever Ohio”.

Pictures sometimes are worth a thousand words but the look and feel of “Forever Ohio” does warrant a personal touch.
