Hey everyone,



This is Larry, owner/ operator of Empire Video Games. My wife and I have been struggling with health issues over the past year. Unfortunately, we’ve been unable to give the business the attention it deserves, and after lengthy discussions with friends and family, we’ve decided to close the brick-and-mortar portion of Empire Video Games.



Our last day of business onsite at our current location, 1315 Central Ave, will be Saturday January 17th, 2026.



We will be utilizing our eBay store more going forward, but we plan to have the business take the backseat for the near future while we prioritize the health and happiness of our family. Opening and running EVG has been a wonderful experience, and while there are many things in our lives that spark joy, this business has ceased to do so for us. We are deeply thankful to all the support we’ve received from our customers over the years.



Once we have more information regarding online selling options and decide on a path forward, we will share the news. For now, we appreciate your patience as we navigate forward.
