Feeling so ready to unplug from Alice Reva Designs and start to turn inward during this huge change in season

My last event was the Capitola Art and Wine Festival, which is always a fun one for me and seems to signal the official end of summer. This year felt different as I fully unloaded and cleaned my car, tidied and organized the studio for the quiet months ahead as I have officially closed up shop for my Maternity Leave. That being said, I have plenty of inventory stock piled for a holiday release in early or mid November which I'm very excited to lean into for the holidays in lieu of in-person markets this year.

I want to thank you all for a surprisingly wonderful year. It started off on a bit of a roller coaster, but even with the economy, tariffs and the general insecurity people are feeling, I've actually had a profitable year overall. Tariffs are still going to be a factor and will increase costs and prices, but we'll deal with that in the new year. I added a few great events like Renegade Craft (thank you for finally letting me in!) which really bolstered my bottom line and made up for other events that under performed. My take away is that even in hard times, many people still prioritize supporting artists, encourage creativity and clearly want to surround themselves with hand made, beautiful things, so there's hope for us yet! Please accept my most heartfelt Thank You. I feel so lucky to be in a position to work for myself, to take as much time off as I need to be with our new babe, pick things up when I feel ready and have what I hope will be a smooth transition into a very new and exciting chapter for Alice Reva Designs!
