🔥🤠 What a night! 🤠🔥

Tea Time Tuesday was filled with creativity, laughter, and the smell of freshly burned wool as everyone put their own personal touch on their cowboy hats!

From initials and feathers🪶 to hummingbirds, bees 🐝 and floral designs 🌺, every hat reflected its maker’s unique style. It was so much fun watching simple ideas turn into one-of-a-kind pieces that everyone was excited to take home.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, shared ideas, encouraged one another, and made the evening such a great time. That’s what our MakerSpace is all about—learning new skills, creating together, and building community.

We can’t wait to see you at the next Tea Time Tuesday! Until then… keep creating, keep experimenting, and wear those beautiful hats with pride! 🤍

✨ What an incredible two evenings of learning together! ✨

A heartfelt thank you to Shawna Shandiin Sunrise of Make It Beautiful Designs for generously sharing her knowledge, artistry, and passion for warp-face weaving with our Tea Time Tuesday community.

Over the course of our two-part workshop, we all embraced the role of student—learning new techniques, asking questions, laughing together, and celebrating each small accomplishment as our mini woven keychains come together. There is something truly special about gathering to learn a traditional art form from someone who carries both the skill and the cultural teachings behind it.

Watching Shawna demonstrate the process, including spinning fiber with a drop spindle, gave us an even deeper appreciation for the time, patience, and beauty woven into every piece. Her willingness to share her knowledge reminds us that these teachings continue to thrive when they are passed from one generation to the next.

Thank you to everyone who joined us with open hearts, curious minds, and creative hands. Your enthusiasm made these evenings so much fun and filled our MakerSpace with laughter, encouragement, and connection.
