We’ve been wanting to share this one, but we were waiting until she saw it first! Go check out her super-sweet unboxing in our reposts!

Some people we meet through Hat Tatt leave a lasting impression. Michelle Lucero was one of those people. 🤎 From the moment we met her, we knew she was special: she had the BEST energy and was someone you’re instantly glad crossed your path.

She’s since become a Hat Tatt collector and one of our favorite people, and now we get to celebrate something pretty incredible: she’s officially a published author! 📖✨

She and J worked together to weave meaningful elements into her hat art to celebrate her new book, Fierce, and commemorate this chapter of her story. Getting to create something so personal is one of our favorite parts of what we do.

My copy of Fierce should be here any day, and I can’t wait to dive in! Go show Michelle Lucero some love and check out her new book. I just know it’s gonna be great!

A few weeks ago we were set up next to a bird refuge at an event. Two very important things we learned: you DO NOT want a barn owl living in your backyard 😂 and J draws inspiration from places I’d never even think of! 😍🤗

The result was some pretty dang cool bird-inspired hats! 🦅 these ones have already found their home but if you need one of these in your life, let us know and we can get a custom order going for you!

Ok guys…. since our beanie posts keep disappearing from literally every platform we share them on 🫠🤣 we’re switching things up a little this cozy season!

We’ve decided to do periodic beanie drops in our stories, so keep an eye out if you’ve been wanting one (or ten 😆).

For now, these little cuties will only be available through our stories and in person! 🧶🥰

We never got a chance to show you this beauty before it flew off the rack hot off the burner! 😍

The very next day, someone came back to buy it for his girlfriend… and it was already gone. 🫣

When we tell you to grab the one you love before it’s gone, it’s not just a sales pitch. 😆 This happens ALL the time! And I always get so sad for ppl!

One of the fun (and sometimes heartbreaking 😂) things about one-of-a-kind, hand-burned art is that once they’re gone, they’re gone! They can be reordered and similarly recreated but never exactly the same when you’re working with freehand art.

So if you spot something you love in Los Alamos Los Alamos Arts Council & Fuller Lodge Art Center this weekend, don’t wait too long! We hate when anyone misses their favorite. 🤎🔥
