This was my service dog Dallas, Dallas was an 1 1/2 year old border collie who was so lively, loving, and friendly to everyone around him. His first instinct was to help me with my medical episodes and play with his sister Kiara, Dallas had unexpectedly passed yesterday afternoon for an unknown reason. My other dog is taking this harder than I would’ve expected, I need some tips on how to help my other dog get through this grief

Lost my baby Friday and I'm really struggling 😭 it was very unexpected and he was only 2 years old. He gave me the best two years he could . I wish I could have spent more time with him. It's definitely different without him here. I won't be okay for a while.

My dog has officially lost all sense of reality… and I’m blaming this Duck. 🦆 😂
He refuses to go anywhere without it.
Bedroom? It’s there.
Living room? Dragged along.
Nap time? Cuddled like it’s the love of his life.
At this point… I’m not the favorite anymore.
It’s giving soulmate energy — just slightly more Ducky.
What shocks me the most? This thing is basically indestructible.
My dog has tried EVERYTHING — chewing, shaking, tug-of-war, launching it across the house…
…and it still looks brand new.
I genuinely don’t know what this duck is made of, but I need that level of emotional strength in my life.
And the squeaky inside?
Game. Changer.
It keeps him busy for HOURS — which means my furniture finally gets a break.
For the first time ever, I found a toy that actually matches his chaos.
He’s happier, calmer… and my house is finally at peace. 🐾
Did I expect a duck toy to change my life?
No.
Did it anyway?
Absolutely.

I am still trying to find my way lost my sweet girl Piper Mae 4 months ago this April she was 10yrs. old. Just miss her so much! She was my bestie…now both of my best friends are in heaven. I recently lost the love of my life 2 years ago, my husband of 30 years…still dealing with lots of grief & loss. I am thankful to have my son and his dog Goose to comfort me but there are days that nothing helps just wish both were still here with me. I’m stuck in that pain and hurt which becomes so overwhelming to be faced with this mountain that is impossible to climb. I finally put away her dishes and collar and put her favorite toy by her picture and ashes. I will always miss our sock thief!!!! We shared so many memories together. It’s been hard losing my fur baby but I am grateful to have known such love.❤️🐾
