Mobius Theory is the ability to exist in multiple states simultaneously, enabling us to live as adults yet retain a sense of childlike awe, wonder, and playfulness. Mobius Theory is a fashion and lifestyle brand developed by Andy Torres as a reaction against disempowering cliches, cynical workaholics, a growing ‘busyness’ culture, and people that just take life too seriously. Our garments and prod

ucts are loudly minimal and curiously absurd, offering a challenge to clichés and allowing for multiple interpretations and meanings for both the wearer and the witness. Mobius Theory is about prioritizing play, fun, and experimentation as much as work. We believe life as an adult is a strip of paper where our inner child coexists with our responsible, grown-up self. One side should not be sacrificed for the other. Everything we create has multiple meanings in order to maintain a balanced and eclectic life. We owe it to our health to see both sides of the strip at once. Mobius Theory can be found throughout the entire galaxy. A week late, but I got a chance to say hello to this beauty over at Rail Yards Market before the market began.

I’ve been enamored with Shepard Fairey’s graphic design and branding work for decades now, from seeing mysterious coded images plastered all over NYC to the famous Hope posters, and then getting the real treat of seeing him speak at a conference in Memphis ten years ago.
I’ve found a lot of inspiration from his method, maybe inadvertently, when building my own brand. I’ve always admired (and tried to use) simple, bold colors with iconic imagery, with the goal of having it be something that can be seen everywhere even if you don’t really know what it is.
Not sure that I succeeded — but anyway, I have Shepard, in part, to thank among many inspirations in my life. Glad some small pieces of that are in my home town now. 🏜️

Bubo is so grateful 🥰 that our new hat series was supported so well this month—and it’s only mid-May!
You folks put a serious dent in the stock. So much so that ⚾️ caps and 🌞 hats haven’t even hit the website yet.
Definitely will be making way more black sun hats, and getting a new run of snap back Ferals.
Question, should our beanies also be year round?

For many years, Bubo has been the 🐈‍⬛ cat that afforded us our many iconic portraits. These have become numerous stickers and garments, etc that you have all so lovingly supported. 🙏

But Dexter has only ever licensed to us the right to use just a couple of expressions. This week, after many intense meetings, he has changed his stance (after almost nine years in business!) and given us permission to make many more tuxedo cat portraits in his image!

Maybe it’s his old age and his wish to leave behind a grand legacy. He’s doing great, guys! But at 16+, he’s definitely slowed down and become a bit calmer and wiser (and even weirder).

More to come, of course, but the first new Dexter item in many years launches next week and we can’t wait to share it!

However you fight your fight, whether it’s against illness or facism, or both, step 1️⃣ is always with perseverance, resistance, strength.
