Vintage Styling Friday: Decorating with Antique Redware

One of the things we love most about antique pottery is how easily it works with so many decorating styles.

Whether your home leans traditional, rustic farmhouse, transitional, or simply reflects a lifetime of collecting, earthy pottery introduces warmth, texture, and a little history.

This antique redware bowl is a wonderful example.

Its simple form and rich clay tones would look beautiful displayed on a wooden sideboard, tucked into an antique cupboard, or incorporated into a pottery collection.

We believe the most interesting homes evolve over time, filled with meaningful pieces rather than perfectly matched accessories.

That's part of what inspires our collection at Antiques Vintage & Collectibles.

Available in our Etsy shop for $84.

A Piece of Coffee History — Antique Copper Dallah

Did you know that the traditional dallah coffee pot has long been associated with hospitality throughout the Middle East?

Its distinctive silhouette — a tall lid, curved spout, and beautifully shaped body — makes it immediately recognizable to collectors of historic metalwork.

This hand-forged copper example is believed to date to the 19th century. Its rich patina, hammered texture, and signs of age give it the kind of character that simply cannot be reproduced.

Measuring approximately 11.5 × 7.5 inches, this is a wonderful decorative piece for someone who appreciates traditional craftsmanship, world history, and unusual antiques.

Offered for decorative use only.

Available at Antiques Vintage & Collectibles for $75.

A Little Vintage Copper Charm!

One of our favorite things about collecting vintage pieces is discovering objects that combine everyday usefulness with beautiful craftsmanship.

This 1970s copper box caught our attention with its pierced detailing, decorative lid, and wonderfully aged finish.

Measuring approximately 4.5 inches wide and 3.75 inches tall, it's the perfect size for a small collection of keepsakes, jewelry, or simply displaying on a shelf.

It's these interesting little objects that make a home feel collected rather than decorated.

Available now at Antiques Vintage & Collectibles for $40.
