My design process 💃

I always start with some type of sketch. Hand drawn is my go to even though I don’t think I’m that great at it.

Then I draft my pattern either flat or by draping. People always ask where I get my patterns and I make all of them! After that I always make a fit sample or several of them until I get the desired look and fit.

Next I sew it together which is the most fun part for me. I like to make things with my hands 🙌

The best part that never gets old is seeing your design come to life! It builds my confidence even if the project is a failure or I just don’t like it. I always learn something from each piece.
