It definitely has been a busy week and when people say “You took quite the undertaking” It’s starting to sink in now!😅 But we wouldn’t have it any other way!!😊 I did try on the wedding dress that William Rembowski gifted us but was too big, did you know a lot of our wedding dresses that we have I use to collect them o & play dress up in way before we even had a shop!?(only married once😉) I can’t fit most of the anymore
Started playing alot of slots at the mat & ran into Tammie Wright who’s been at our shop with Marybeth Bowman who’s also been one of our Harvest Host Guests!🥰 She helped give us some pointers as well!💞 Now we have clean linens for our AirBNB guests this weekend!🙌
We have been getting our chapel ready for our big elopement/micro wedding that happened this evening! Thankful for Roger Sprague for helping make our grounds ready for it and taking care of our gold fish in the fountain for the winter, even came to weedwack this morning!🥰 More to share on that on another post!! 💒 🤩 Been working on setting up & decorating for a little surprise bday tomorrow which I can share later! Been also getting some Halloween buildings ready to share later too!!🍭🍬
Roger took us to a grocery store that William recommended and he apparently goes quite often in Addison to buy all his meat!🥩 It was also a nice color tour we got to see along the way!🤗
Em has also put some walls up in the garage as he is getting it cleaned up!🧹
I might add additional from today if I can to this post so won’t need to make 3 posts..Our wedding booker, Nicole for the winter time also came in this morning with our floral vendor, Traci today to discuss floral arrangements and setting, etc! It’s exciting to see this come together!!🤗Nicole is having major surgery done soon so hope & pray that she will have a speedy recover feeling much better than ever!!❤️🩹
Met so many awesome couples today!! Some that remembers coming here as a kid and thankful we are bringing it back! Be returning for our Halloween event, a couple coming from Arizona who’s here visiting parents found her dad a bday gift!A couple from Monroe who comes to visit once in a while found a few primitive things we just added last night & Christmas in the Christmas shop, a couple we met that just opened a shop in Port Huron, & a talented artist Rhonda, who actually use to be a vendor here in the Christmas shop in the 90’s selling Christmas!!🎄 She’s planning on being a vendor here as well! We received a call today from someone that is interested being a vendor who someone from Shipshewana mentioned our place🥰 We have to figure out what we will be doing for the Holiday season in the Victorian House as we were planning to close it down to get it ready for an event hall but since some of our vendors still wants to stay and some more inquiries are happening, maybe we can still be open for November for the Holiday shopping season🤷🏻♀️ Not sure what we will do yet..need to talk to our vendors more about what they want to do since we planned on moving a few vendors into our shop in the main building with some space we will need to make. I guess I’m filling everyone on some things going on!
