Our K-2nd grade theme for June is
🍦Ice Cream Science 🧪
and we'll visit a dairy farm to see how they process milk into cheese and ice cream and then take a behind the scenes tour at a local ice cream shop in order to see how they create their delicious custom flavors!

We'll be playing through the states of matter with all sorts of fun, icey activities, practice sequencing thru step-by-step procedure creation, and give an "opinion" presentation to the group!

We meet every Friday in June (and we have a field trip on Thursday, the 25th) to learn, play, and grow together! We’d love to have you join us!

We’re intentionally low tech, purposely playful, kinda messy, and strategically focused on infusing social-emotional skill building into every one of our creative, academic projects.

🍋 Come to our Lemonade Party info session on May 29th and hear about our growing catalog of K-5th grade clubs and classes (including our PreK-K Bucket Band, 4th/5th grade book club, 3rd grade Michigan history, and all sorts of unique art, sourdough baking, Lego, sewing, and science classes!).

🐾 We’ll unpack what living things want vs. need, build a rain forest habitat, discover and compare clever creature adaptations, dissect owl pellets, and meet all sorts of living creatures!

➡️ The Ponder+Play Club meets at 6375 Winans Street in Allendale, Michigan. Our K-2 Club meets on Fridays from 1-3 and parents will receive a newsletter with field trip, guest speaker, and project info as well as a linked list of Michigan Learning standards/expectations the lessons taught are based on.

We’re building something special—a homeschool community rooted in Biblical values and centered on what matters most: relationships, curiosity, and meaningful growth.

Sure, we'll use CAD to design 3D printed tools, tinker with robots to learn about and create code, and build digital presentations to broadcast to the group, but, our main focus is on face-to-face confident communication techniques, boosting emotional intelligence, and enhancing practical life skills.

🥹Thank you so super much for an AMAZING drop yesterday!!!🤗🤗

This Chocolate Covered Strawberry play dough kit was a top seller (can you guess what came in a close second??)
and I’ve restocked most items again just now.😍

🥨 Earlier today, I brought out some of our wooden pretzels so the kids could make some pretend versions of both of these favorite chocolate covered treats, but it got me wondering what everyone else might prefer…. salty or sweet??

🤔Would you prefer chocolate covered strawberries or chocolate covered pretzels (or maybe both!!)??

It’s Arctic Rainbow drop night and I’m super excited to see what you’ll add to your collection from my little shop!!🤗🤗

My embroidered Arctic fox manipulatives are a soft, sweet addition to the fun textures in your wintery sensory bins and will be part of tonight’s Arctic Rainbow drop, too!

I’ll send out the early access site password to email friends soon, but the site will officially open to everyone tonight at 8EST.
