Today was finish up some projects day. Upcycled a suit jacket from Goodwill. Cropped the jacket and use the bottom half on the sleeves . Refashioned a silk tie into a broach and added fringe to give it a western flare.

This one has been sitting around on my bead board for well over a year. I finally have got around to putting it together and stringing it. Definitely has some weight to it with it being all glass beads, shell pearls and natural stones. Choker style with bold beads. Love it!

I haven’t posted here in a while because soccer has been keeping me busy, but now I finally get a little break.

I don’t consider myself a fashion designer because I don’t create clothing for other people—I create it for myself. I see myself more as a fiber and textile artist. Designing and making my own clothes is a way to express who I am.

Just like any form of art, my work is open to interpretation. Some people will love it, while others may not, and that’s perfectly okay. Everyone has their own style and perspective.

I also make my own jewelry. I love pieces that are big, bold, and stand out in a crowd because that’s what reflects my personality. Fashion and art are my creative outlets, and I enjoy expressing myself in a way that’s uniquely my own.

I took a trip over to the Allentown art museum, and as soon as I walked in, saw an art exhibit, I completely fell in love with this whole piece of art and it is crocheted!!!

The Allentown arts Museum is free to go visit and they have different exhibits going on there all the time.
