Good Evening!

I wanted to take a minute and talk about this little operation and how it came about.

Most of you know me but for new followers my name is Melinda Eckert, I am the owner of Valid Co. I am 28 and have a 1 year old daughter. She is truly the reason I decided to embark on this adventure and she is why I will never give up on it either. My vision for this brand was simple yet very complicated. I wanted to bring quality products preferably made in the USA to people for reasonable prices. The cost of nice quality clothing is outrageous and I was sick of it. I have been able to provide this and I am ecstatic! I am also very happy that some of our items are earth friendly! Our rPET line is made from recycled plastics! It is also some of the softest fabrics I have ever felt on my skin. Another part of my vision was to offer clothing that is comfortable and in style. I am a stay at home mom so comfort is my priority HOWEVER I don't want to look homeless either. So with that in mind I try to have a mix of products to achieve this.

VALID CO... What the efff does that mean?
A question I get asked all the time. My default answer is its complicated haha. Tonight I am actually going to explain how it came about. Its cheesy how I came up with it but it works. It is actually an inside look at how I feel. (eww feelings) I came up with the name because I feel like everyone should feel VALID. We all need to love the way we look and shouldn't need others approval to do so.

It also sounded cool.
