Children's book: Going on a Veggie Hunt No bows, guns, or knives needed for this pursuit. Going on a Veggie Hunt is an interactive adventure; guaranteed to get the whole family on their feet.

Together, we travel through Old Man Vines’ vegetable garden. Identifying and gathering all the ingredients on his list. As we collect the last vegetable, an unexpected visitor arrives. A veggie stealing visitor! We are the only ones that can save our basket. Can we do it? Will we get all of our veggies back to Old Man Vine? Or will we lose them all and have to go home hungry? Let’s go hunting and see!

Help us provide healthy options for those we serve in Alpena County. We received a generous donation of funds to buy this refrigerator. Now we are able to provide fresh fruits and vegetables. If you have a garden with extra produce please consider donating it to The Salvation Army at 722 N Second Ave between the hours of 8:30-3:30 Monday-Friday. Please call for after hour drop off. Here's a great display of what the different package sizes look like via week one of co-op. Family, couples and singles options are what we offer. Week one of co-op is always my least favorite because it's just very salad-y. Not that I don't love salad it's just not my favorite thing to package up.
