That’s a wrap! Unbelievable turnout and participation this year by these amazing dads, families and barns. It was our highest fundraiser since we started rgb, and the money you raised is going towards a tremendous cause. The presentations we were all privileged to witness truly raised the bar, and we’re so excited to see how you top it in 2023. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who donated and participated; it was both humbling and inspiring to see our incredible community show up the way you did. We love you all.

DAD DERBY Additional Info

Riding ability is not a prerequisite- last year we had lead liners, walkers, trotters, canterers, and jumpers. The course will be ground poles with cross rail high options. How you ride the course will make up 20% of your total score.

Presentation is 70%. This is your intro song, your bio the announcer reads, how you’re dressed and the swagger you and your entourage bring to the arena and audience. This is the place to go all out. One change from last year- please do not throw small bottles of liquor to the crowd, we do have a large collection of underage in the audience…

Judge’s bribes are 10%. There will be five judges announced closer to the competition date. Bribe them… creatively… for a few extra points.

Our number one goal here is to have a blast and to raise a small fortune for the Anna Crawford Children’s Center. Get signed up and if you’ve got any questions, let us know!

This year’s Dad Derby partner for children is the Anna Crawford Children’s Center in Woodstock who are dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect. They do incredible work, much of it with our friends in local law enforcement.

Last year our dads raised over $25k; let’s see if we can beat it in 2022.
