Kim Tanner, the owner, carefully curates an ever evolving collection of vintage home goods that reflect the quality and craftsmanship of a by-gone era while keeping the overall aesthetic of her showroom eclectic and fresh. Taking from the examples of her Grandmothers, Kim has an eye for

quality and refined pieces and can spot a a hidden gem! Her BFA in Interior Design also helped mold her appreciation for well executed and thoughtful design. Kim travels all over the Midwest from Green Bay to Nashville and all parts in between to visit estate sales and private sellers in order to bring her finds back to the shop in Godfrey where she styles and mixes them, hopefully helping her clients let their own style shine through! When I bought this property 6 years ago (!!!) there was so much to do, and still is. This area was covered in brush and yard waste 6 ft high. The brush was cleared the first summer (thanks dad) and under it was a broken, brick paved slab. I have wanted to make this area a patio ever since. Lucky for me, this year, my strong and innovative partner worked out how to level the slab and put it back together. I bought the vintage sofa and lounger set last summer and stored it for the day I could make my patio wish come true. I finally got to put it together this summer and I love it! It’s the perfect spot for an icy cold pitcher of gin and tonics with lots-o-limes. Here’s to summer 🍸
