Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for a truly amazing 19 years.
The By Design Closing Sale is officially over, and as we look back on these last few days, we are overwhelmed with gratitude.
When we opened the doors of By Design 19 years ago, we could have never imagined all of the people we would meet, friendships we would make, memories we would create, and lives we would become a small part of along the way.
By Design has always been about so much more than sewing. It has been about people. It has been about sitting around a table, learning something new, helping someone figure out a difficult project, sharing stories, laughing, creating, and sometimes just enjoying each other's company.
Over the years, we have had so many wonderful students, customers, friends, and fellow makers walk through those doors. Some came in looking for a particular piece of fabric or a sewing machine and ended up becoming part of the By Design family. Others have been with us for years. We are thankful for every single one of you.
And to everyone who came out for the closing sale — thank you. Thank you for shopping, sharing our posts, telling your friends, stopping by to say goodbye, and for all of the kind words and memories you shared with us. It meant more than you know.
There is definitely a little sadness in closing this chapter, but there is also so much gratitude for everything these 19 years have brought into our lives. We will carry those memories with us wherever the next chapter takes us.
We do still have a few furniture pieces left. Those will be posted on Facebook Marketplace later this coming week, so keep an eye out if you're still looking for something.
