How we’re kicking off fall break. 🤎📚
Two ✨new✨ libraries explored, new books discovered, and memories made along the way!
I’ve been thinking lately about the things I hope my children carry with them long after they’ve grown…
A love for literature, an appreciation for public spaces(libraries, parks, etc.), and the ability to respect people who see the world differently than they do.
I want them to gain wisdom from listening, knowledge from reading, and courage from being asked to step outside their comfort zones and try something new.
And honestly? If those are the things I manage to teach them, I think I’ll consider motherhood a pretty wonderful success!
The world feels a little crazy sometimes….But I still believe there’s something incredibly powerful about the simple things.
Picking up a book. Taking a walk outside. Having a conversation with someone.
And choosing kindness, even when it isn’t the easiest choice.
Maybe making the world a little better for our children doesn’t always have to start with something extraordinary.
Maybe it starts with raising children who are curious enough to learn, brave enough to explore, and kind enough to care.
And sometimes, that starts with an afternoon at the library. 🤎
