The state of animal rescue is heartbreaking right now.

Rescues everywhere are beyond full. Foster homes are scarce. Donations have slowed. Across the country, many rescues are struggling just to keep their doors open, and some are closing altogether.

When people reach out asking us to take in an animal, it breaks our hearts to say no. But sometimes the answer has to be no.

Our commitment is to the animals already in our care and to those we can save from direct euthanasia. We cannot responsibly take in more than we can safely provide for.

At this time, we are also unable to accept animals that are not fully vaccinated. We recently lost one of our excellent foster homes after a foster puppy contracted parvo. The risk is simply too great for the animals we currently have.

Please understand our position. These decisions are never made lightly.

You can help by: ๐Ÿพ Sharing adoptable animals and rescue posts ๐Ÿพ Donating to local rescues ๐Ÿพ Fostering if you are able ๐Ÿพ Adopting from any reputable rescue or shelter in our area

Every share, every dollar, every foster home, and every adoption makes a difference.

Rescue is in a difficult place right now. Please keep rescuers, shelters, foster families, and the animals depending on them in your thoughts and prayers. We can only hope things get better.

This is not a problem one rescue can solve alone. It will take the entire community working together. ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿพ
