Last sewing camp for the summer of 2026!
My heart is full watching these young makers grow in confidence with every stitch. They made new friends, learned to encourage one another, respected each other’s unique talents, and discovered they are capable of more than they imagined.

I hope I planted a small seed, a lifelong love for sewing, creativity, and using their gifts to bless others. Thank you to every family for trusting me with your children. Until next summer!

Week 4 of Sewing Camp is in the books! ✂️🧵

What an incredible week filled with creativity, laughter, new friendships, and so much learning. Watching these young makers grow in confidence as they master new sewing skills is one of the greatest joys of what we do.

More than just teaching sewing, we’re proud to provide a safe, welcoming space where local children can create, encourage one another, and discover talents they didn’t know they had. Sewing is a lifelong skill, one that fosters patience, creativity, problem-solving, and independence, and we’re honored to help pass this beautiful craft on to the next generation.

Thank you to all the families who trust us with your children and to everyone who supports our mission. One stitch at a time, we’re building confidence, community, and skills that will last a lifetime. ❤️

Week 3 Sewing Camp ✂️🎭

We teamed up with Sumter Players to create costumes and accessories for next spring’s production of Hairspray! Watching these young creatives bring their ideas to life through sewing, design, and theater has been amazing. We can’t wait to see their work on stageand their names in the playbill! 💖✨
Thank you Laura Bauer McConatha and Barry for proving scholarships and support for children of our community to be part of this week camp.

Our campers spent the week learning sewing basics and practicing different types of stitches. Their favorite project? A handmade blanket! 🥰

And if you ask them their favorite part of the week… dressing the mannequin wins by a landslide! 😂🫣

What a wonderful start to Sewing Camp Week 1! 🧵✨

This week our campers created handbags, pin cushions, key chains, plushies, tie-dye projects, and cozy blankets. They learned valuable hand-stitching techniques, operated industrial sewing machines, and even took home their own sewing kits so they can continue creating, repairing, and mending at home.

In a world of fast fashion, these young makers are helping bring back a lost art, one stitch at a time. ❤️

We are so proud of all they accomplished this week and can’t wait to see what next week’s campers will create!
