HOW TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT

Due to workload we will be implementing a new process for booking appointments. From here on out we will NOT be booking by calling/email/texting. ALL clients for ALL categories will need to fill out a client intake form.

Depending on your garment will determine how extensive the form is. We require information about the brand, condition, where your item was purchased, general alterations, availability, and event details if applicable.
Once the form is submitted we will reach out to you if it falls within our availability and services.
Remember, just because you fill out a form does not guarantee you will be contacted to book an appointment.
No Contact = No Appointment
Please note, this needs to be filled out fully and truthfully! If you lie in the form and require different things once you’re at your appointment your project will be rejected but you still will need to pay for the fitting fee.

• Additional closures this month on July 3rd-7th and Saturday, July 18th.
• Our Saturdays are still booked out months in advance so if you need an appointment in the month of JULY it will need to be during the week.
• If you are a WINTER bride, call today to get on the books.
• Appointments are still required for all garments. No walk-ins and no repairs. You can also check our website for lead times for other formalwear categories.
• We are no longer accepting Ready-to-Wear. We are focusing on bridal, formalwear, and military categories only moving forward.

YIKES! 😱 talk about some scary alterations. This is something that was brought to us after being worked on by someone else. This is why you don’t have your friends, family, or uneducated sewers working on your garments! We understand the low cost can be tempting but you often get what you pay for. Remember to ALWAYS do research when choosing a seamstress because sometimes bad alterations can’t be reversed and you’ll end up spending more money trying to repair the damage or replacing the garment all together.

Yes, we’re still accepting suits! We consider this part of our formal wear department. It’s important to bring all of your layering pieces when fitting your suit such as a dress shirt and shoes. Reminder we are by appointment only so be sure to call ahead of time.

✨BUSTLES✨ Did you know that the majority of wedding gowns aren’t designed with a bustle pre-installed? The bustle is designed and installed by your seamstress. Most brides think that it automatically comes with the dress but this simply isn’t true. The style of your bustle is specifically chosen and set based on your preferences, body type, height, train length, and train shape. We’ve altered the same dress for 5 different girls and each one came out with a slightly different bustle! Some bustles are simple and some are more complex. Featured here is a 5 point American bustle.

A little throw back to one of our favorite couples - Tripp & Hannah! Along with her wedding gown we custom made her party dress for a fun outfit change so Hannah could dance the night away. We made her party dress out of the same fabric as her wedding gown for a mini collection. Happy Anniversary to these two!

REMINDER, WE ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!
No appointment = No service
We have clients who wait months to come in so if we have people constantly walking in and interrupting their well-awaited appointment it is unfair to them and also a waste of your time. To book an appointment please call 515-233-0303. If we do not answer it means we are either closed or in a fitting so simply leave a message and we will return your call at our earliest convenience. Sometimes we are in back to back fittings for hours, so repeatedly calling will not result in a quicker response.
