❤️ Shirley’s Thrift Store is looking for volunteers! ❤️

As a nonprofit thrift store, our mission is simple: thrift. give. grow. Every volunteer helps us provide affordable clothing and give back to our community.

📍 Location: Downtown Waupaca, Wisconsin
🗓️ Opening: Mid-August 2026
⏰ Flexible volunteer hours available

Volunteer Duties May Include:
• Sorting and processing donations
• Hanging and organizing clothing
• Pricing merchandise
• Stocking shelves and racks
• Assisting customers at checkout
• General cleaning and store organization
• Helping prepare the store for opening and special events

✨ No experience necessary! We’re looking for friendly, dependable people who want to make a positive impact in the community.

This is a great opportunity for:
• Students needing volunteer hours
• Retirees looking to stay active
• Anyone wanting to give back locally
• Those interested in retail or nonprofit experience

As we prepare for our exciting next chapter, all adult clothing is now just $2 and all kids’ clothing is only $1 until we close our Amherst location!

We don’t have an official closing date yet, as we have a lot happening behind the scenes, but we wanted to give everyone a chance to stock up on amazing deals while they last. We will be moving into our new location on August 1st and are hoping to open our doors there by mid-August!

✨ Plus, we have Ice Cubes, squishies, and other fun sensory items arriving tomorrow! Perfect for kids (and adults who love them too 😉).

Thank you all for supporting us throughout our journey in Amherst. Your support has meant the world to us, and we are so excited for this next chapter. We can’t wait to share what’s coming and welcome you into our new space soon! ❤️
