Another blanket off to its forever home 💙💚🤍

What I always find so fascinating is how natural light completely changes the color of a blanket in pictures!

Either way, this blanket is gorgeous, squishy and oh so cuddly!

It’s hard to completely describe how fulfilling it is to take a long piece of string and turn it into something that will be loved for years to come!

I am absolutely in LOVE with this blanket and matching hats. It gives me mountain rustic vibes.

These were gifted to a coworker and friend of mine welcoming a baby boy in May 🧡🩵💙🤍

I have had very little time to sit and make beautiful creations these days between three energy-filled little girls and a job that keeps me busier than I could have wver imagined….time slips away! But sometimes a strong itch to cteate something sneaks into my thoughts….and once it’s in my brain it has to be worked on! I enjoyed making this blanket and hat for my friends first grandson!

I’m so happy with how this blanket and hat turned out

Crochet hasn’t been something that is at the top of my never-ending “to-do” list for a long time. My three little girls keep me more than busy every single day.

However, having my 12-year-old niece in our home for several nights the last few weeks has made me find time to crochet because she wants to learn, and I love to teach!!

She requested that we make a project together so we both picked our own color schemes. I’m addicted to working on this project!

Any guesses what I’m making?!?!

PS: no time for those pretty photos right now. Just working on this project in the minutes between when my kids need something…which is like every 3 minutes.

This has been a labor of love that I have slowly put together row by row between loving on three kids and the responsibilities that come with being a wife, friend and full time working woman.

My grandma has been the light of my life, my rock when on shaky ground and the person that brings comfort and peace to my life.

Many years ago she taught me to crochet a simple single stitch ripple pattern and her patience and loving approach turned this simple skill into a lifelong passion.

All these years I have never crocheted her a blanket. I chose this pattern because I remember watching her crochet a sage blanket with the shell bobbles on it and it felt fitting to bring that stitch full circle ❤️❤️

So much love went into each stitch and I couldn’t be happier with the delicate edge around this blanket.
