Hello my friends!! Modern Cloth the fabric store has officially closed down, but I've had a fabulous run. We've got a lot of moving in the near future, and I'm going to focus on the designing from here. I am so happy to announce that all of my inventory went to a fabulous new home where it will become part of a brand new fabric shop!! Rachel is so excited to hear from you, check her out and let her know I sent you! She's got some really cute new fabrics and will continue to add to her inventory all the time!!

Ok, "Woolen" is now live!! This is a collection about knitting tools and the animals that give us the fibers for yarn. Last winter I took some online classes on how to knit, and of course now I'm hooked! Everything in this line is hand sketched, and the color story comes from a happy accident involving grid paper. Even if you don't knit, the llamas are just so darn cute! And wouldn't the Angora rabbits be adorable for an Easter gift?

Last spring we went to Boston for the weekend and explored it's gorgeous downtown. All the brick, all the wrought-iron, the hundred years old graveyards, the harbor, it was amazing. The city garden really stuck with me and I drew these designs straight from the pictures that I took on that sunny day in the park. Right in the middle of the city, this oasis of willow trees, lagoon, ducks, and rose gardens were such a delight.

Ok folks, here's the scoop... Modern Cloth has officially begun liquidation! With a pending international move, I have to sell everything in the shop and close up for a while. Since I can't take it with me, you should take it at a sweet discount (some brand spankin' new fabrics too, seriously good deals!!). It has been the most amazing 5 years selling fabrics on Etsy and I can't thank you all enough for the successes we've shared. Be sure to check back often, I may be moving but that's not going to stop me working in the industry... there's much more in store around here!!
