10:45 am: All members should now be back in power.

The issue was traced to an area near Sterling. This caused an under-frequency event that in turn caused generation units to trip off line, which then triggered the load shedding event. When major generation goes off-line the system is automatically set to "shed load" to protect the system from all losing power. Thank you for your patience as we worked through this event.

10:30 am: There is no need to call and report the outage, we are aware and working on it. Thank you.

A load shedding event is occurring along the Railbelt. Generation has tripped off somewhere and utilities begin to “shed” load to protect the overall system.

Additional generation is being brought online and power should be restored soon.
