Greetings to all our Arctic Fire clothing friends! A little update, that is long over due!
Jeannette & I are down to the last few pairs of our Cinder Shorts and are currently discussing options for either another run of them, or perhaps, a slightly different product. Stay tuned!
In the mean time, we went through the last of our Cinder short supply and are looking to clear them out!!
All we have left are the following:
7 Women's Large (that's all we have for the ladies!).
4 Men's Large.
9 Men's X-Large.
5 Men's XX-Large.
That ALL there is left!
I'm taking 3 of each of the above listed sizes into the Trek Store this week. The rest will be available direct through us.
They will be $50 a pair at Trek... or $45 direct through us.
Unfortunately, our website is down, so please just give us a call if one of those sizes work for you... Or just zip on down to the Trek Store.
ALSO.. we still have a big supply of a huge variety of our fleece skirts! They make a great winter running, skiing layer and are a super gift for Christmas!

It's been a quiet summer and fall I guess. However, with winter upon us in Alaska, it's time to get out those Cinder shorts and fleece skirts! If you have friends that haven't gotten the word about us yet, please share our website with them!

Time to get Arctic Fire Clothing out and about again! If you are participating in any of the Big Wild Life Runs this weekend, be sure to stop by and see us at the Expo! We'll have a spot in the Dena'ina Center close to the bib pick up. Come see some of the new styles for our fleece skirts, our cold weather base layer the "Cinder Short"... and also check out our latest prototype for a full length tight and give us your feedback! Join us in downtown Anchorage, Alaska, on August 17 and 18, 2013, for the Big Wild Life Runs. Races include: marathon, marathon walk, four-person marathon relay, half marathon, 5K, and kids' 2K. The courses are relatively flat and after a short stretch on downtown streets proceed on the Tony Knowles...

Abominable Snow Series race, #3, last night. The Alaska cold is back! -1 degrees at the start... and there were still a ton of folks out to play. Who had their Cinder Shorts on? I know I did! :-)
Next event is another evening race, Wednesday, 2/6!

The Abominable Snow Series is a seven-race series of shorter, mountain bike style winter races. While any bike is welcome to participate, the courses favor fat bikes.

Cinnamon Roll Run from our place (4424 Zodiak Drive) this Sunday, 12/23, at 10:00AM! 3 pace groups this weekend as Jeannette will be leading a walk/jog group while her knee is sore... in addition to the usual scenic and front runner groups. Rolls and beverages afterwards! Please let us know if you can join us this weekend, as we are making the invites more "global" and need a solid handle on numbers for baking purposes! Thanks! :-)

Nice snow bike today with Jeannette. 6-10 degrees out between home and the Science Center. Arctic Fire face mask/head bands (perfect weights to keep off the wind but easily breathe through)... Arctic Fire hats... Arctic Fire shorts (still no heaters needed!)... Nice and toasty after 90 minutes. :-)

ATTENTION!! Our first "Cinnamon Roll Run" of the winter is THIS Sunday. Meeting at Arctic Fire central (that would be our house!) at 11:00AM. We will have two groups heading out... One will run 5 or 6 miles, and average around 10-12 minute miles over snowy trails and single track... the other group will run 7-8 miles and average 8-10 minute miles over the same terrain, hilly and twisty single track. Come on over to play, and then stay after to enjoy fresh, home made rolls, beverages and chat!!
