REMINDER: The deadline to register to vote or update your voter registration before the Aug. 18 statewide primary election is July 19. Your vote matters! Make sure you're registered and ready to help Get Out The Native Vote!

We are about 5 weeks away from the Statewide Primary!

Primaries are like regional basketball tournaments, you have to win at regional in order to get to State. Candidates and one issue needs your support to appear on the November ballot. The primary is a Pick-One affair, you only pick one candidate among every office and approve of the placement of a ballot initiative on August 18, and the top 4 vote getters move on to the general election ticket for the Nov. 3 midterm elections where Governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, all 40 state house seats and 20 state senate seats are up. We're happy to see our Shareholders out on the river this fishing season. It's the perfect time to revisit this tutorial from our TKC ROOTS (Raising Our Own Traditional Stewards) program on preparing and canning smoked fish using a pressure cooker.

For this year's Annual Meeting of Shareholders, a memorial video was created by TKC Shareholder and Rural Development Director Will Hartman to honor and celebrate the Shareholders we lost in 2025 and 2026 up to the date of our Annual Meeting.

While we had planned to share the video during the meeting, our celebration moved outdoors in Crooked Creek, and we instead observed a moment of silence together.
