Authorities are baffled. Witnesses have been interviewed. Suspects are being questioned. But the case remains unsolved...

Beginning July 16–25, detectives from across the Southeast are invited to join the investigation during the Carolina Shop Hop.

Visit all 13 participating quilt shops, gather witness statements, eliminate suspects, and uncover:

Got extra fabric, fabric you thought you liked, leftovers from some project decades ago?? If it’s a natural fiber (cotton,linen, wool), I’ll take it! Just message or email or text and I’ll meet you for a pick up. I’m always looking to reuse and repurpose fabric to keep it out of a landfill.

The world generates more than 92 million metric tons of textile waste every year. That's the equivalent of a garbage truck full of clothing being discarded every second.

One way to help? Reuse, repair, donate, and upcycle. Giving textiles a second life keeps valuable materials in use longer and helps reduce waste. Small choices can make a big impact.
