Some things are worth taking the long way.

What began as an Army Surplus store in 1971 has evolved into something uniquely Bivouac: a fashion-forward boutique with outdoor and active roots.

A few years ago, we launched a separate boutique Instagram because many people knew us only for outdoor gear and didnā€™t realize the full range of brands and products we carry. Over time, weā€™ve realized that while our assortment has grown and evolved, weā€™re still one store with one story.

So weā€™re bringing everything back under one account: Bivouac Ann Arbor

Weā€™re also bringing back one of our earliest logos. This rebrand is all about a more cohesive expression where weā€™re headed next, while honoring where we came from. It carries forward the spirit, values, and sense of discovery that have defined Bivouac for more than 50 years.

Bivouac has always been a bit of an if-you-know-you-know place. A store thatā€™s been discovered through word of mouth, favorite finds, and unexpected brands. The kind of place you stumble into once and keep coming back to.
