Today we had the absolute honor of being a field trip stop for the Antioch summer camp and our hearts are so full 🥹

When we moved into our larger space, one of our biggest goals wasn’t just to fit more local artists - it was to create more opportunities for kids. There aren’t a ton of local spaces where they can create, learn, and just be kids, so we wanted to build something that could. Today we got to share our story, talk about how The Stubborn Sunflower came to be, give them a peek behind the scenes, and hopefully show them that big dreams don’t have to stay dreams. Every business, every handmade item, every idea starts somewhere.

Each camper planted their own sunflower to take home. We hope it grows alongside their confidence and serves as a little reminder to stand tall, keep growing, and never be afraid to bloom into exactly who they’re meant to be. 🌻

Thank you for spending part of your summer with us! We can’t wait to see where your dreams take you ♥️

‼️ Sales tax is increasing for anyone in Lake, McHenry, Will, Kane, Cook and DuPage Counties starting August 1st, 2026 ‼️

Beginning August 1, Antioch’s sales tax will increase from 9.00% to 9.25%.

The good news? Our prices aren’t changing. The only difference is the state required sales tax you’ll see at checkout whether you’re shopping with us or anywhere else in town. This change applies across the board. If you have the choice, keep shopping local. Every dollar spent at a small business helps support local artists, local jobs, and families right here in our community. We appreciate every single one of you. ❤️

Some nights remind you just how lucky you are to call this place home. ❤️

The music, the laughter, kids running through the park, neighbors catching up, and a sky full of fireworks to end it all.

Thank you, Antioch, for another Fourth of July that brought everyone together. There’s something pretty special about watching an entire town celebrate side by side.

Until next year! ✨

We are open!

After the parade, come enjoy some aggressively air conditioned air, browse around, and pretend you’re “just looking.” We support that!

We’ve also got water out front for the parade pups because someone around here has to stay hydrated. 💦

Happy 4th of July! See you soon! ❤️🤍💙

🐾 COUNTDOWN TO THE 4TH: Firework Prep for Every Pup! 🎆

With America’s 250th anniversary this weekend, local celebrations and fireworks are bound to be bigger, louder, and more abundant than ever. Whether you have a beloved family pet, a brand-new rescue, or a working dog, a single terrifying night can cause long-term fear.

Protecting our dogs isn't just about getting through the night—it's about preserving their confidence and trust in us.

Over the next few days, we’re breaking down our master safety guide into daily, actionable steps. First up: Here is your checklist for what to do TODAY (Wednesday, July 1st) to get ahead of the noise! 👇

1. Preparation & Safety Essentials (Do This Now)
[ ] Secure All Gear: Ensure your dog's collar or harness fits snugly enough that they cannot slip out if they panic and bolt. Double-check that all ID tags are current and securely attached, and ensure their microchip registration info is up to date.

[ ] Plan Exercise Early: On July 4th, take your dog for a long, vigorous walk or play session early in the morning or afternoon. Tiring them out physically and mentally before the sun goes down makes it much easier for them to rest through the chaos.

[ ] Beat the Veterinary Rush: If your dog historically experiences intense panic from loud noises, call your vet right away to discuss prescription options like Trazodone. Clinics get incredibly busy as the holiday approaches.

[ ] Do a Medication Test Run: If you receive a prescription, give your dog a "practice dose" on a normal day before the holiday. This allows you to observe exactly how they react and how sedated they become, so there are no surprises on the night of the fireworks.

What better way to celebrate turning 13 than getting your hands a little dirty and creating something with Red Truck Bouquets ? 🌱💚

Yesterday’s terrarium birthday party was filled with smiles, creativity, and memories that will keep growing right alongside these little gardens. We absolutely love being able to celebrate life’s milestones with our community, whether it’s painting, crafting, planting, or creating something completely new.

Happy Birthday, Riley and thank you for letting us be part of your special day! 🪴
