Just wanted to share these gorgeous customer photos! They went to Italy on family vacay and had beautiful professional photos taken of their family. These are the dresses that I hemmed for them!

Now that my lovely bride is married, I can finally share her gown and the custom work I did on it! On each picture, the left is the “before,” or the model pic, and the right is “after” on my bride. Originally the gown came with beads at the top of the bodice. She wanted the beading removed and replaced with gathered/draped fabric to look like the rest of the bodice. The dress also happened to come with removable sleeves, and she wasn’t going to use them, so I used the fabric from that to make more drapery! You can’t even tell and I love that so much. The bride is pretty happy too ;)

Today I am sharing MY wedding dress, because today it’s my anniversary! 8 years ago today we got married in NY, where we’re from, and had the most amazing Hawaii-themed wedding at a beach venue. It was a perfect day.

Side note: my dress was Essence of Australia , and no I didn’t alter my own dress lol ;)

Cute as it came? Yes. But this girl who is set to graduate wanted it customized more to her liking. So I converted the sleeves to straps, and finished the edge off with elastic so it would gather up and match the neckline. Super cute this way too! Which way would you wear it??

Happy Sunday! Hope your day is as fun as this completely custom wedding reception outfit is to dance in!

My bride gave me a one-piece top with a high neck, and fabric to do the rest. I cut down the neckline of the top and made a ruffled flounce for it and added the scalloped lace trim. I made the handkerchief hem skirt for her from scratch. I hand sewed all the appliqués, and the crystals were all put on by hand as well! All with a handmade head scarf to match ✨
