Sewing butter. Ok, not butter but silk charmeuse that is the floppiest, slitheriest fabric that likes to fray. I came home with silk "fur" clinging to my pants. It's weird that some colors of the same fabric are softer than others, the brown for some reason is very stable. The yellow is the sloppy one.

Some alterations and a dance mock-up, but a customer said "oh is that a bride and groom?" I want to go to that wedding. Disco roller skating! It's funny when random projects somehow work together.

Alteration and mockups today. I usually baste mark the new sleeve length before unpicking everything, this one still has the thread marking. Vintage leather skirt hem and alterations, and a mock up to size test for a run of costumes. Last image was the CLO3D check on the avatar.

I hate that I have to say this, but I REALLY don't respond well to AI. I have gotten about 5 AI generated images or spec sheets in the last week or so from prospective clients, and I'm not happy about it.

I am not taking alterations at this time, because of contracted work. My apologies! Spring and summer is when I have a slow period and can take alterations, generally speaking.

Have I mentioned this tip? Wrap your foam in slick plastic in order to easily get it into a 'grabby" cushion cover. For me that's usually marine vinyl. You can pull it out after, or leave it in.

A first for me, grading a garment from 3T to adult XL. Crazy. Also, got the ruffler out for a small job and it did not disappoint, it loosened my needle at least three times (but I caught it before it fell out). I have a love hate relationship with that thing.
