If you know me at all… you know I love a good theme. 😂🖤

And Halloween? Hands down one of my favorite holidays.

I’ve been dreaming up something fun for my front booth at Sassafras, and I’m finally starting to bring it to life. This year’s theme is… Haunted Mansion. 🕯️👻

Think old portraits, flickering candlelight, forgotten treasures, a little mystery, and all the vintage goodness I can find. It’s going to be dark, moody, a little creepy, and so much fun to put together.

It’s still in the beginning stages, but I couldn’t keep it a secret any longer. I figured I’d give you a little teaser. 😉

I’ll be sharing bits and pieces as it comes together over the next several weeks. I have a feeling this might end up being one of my favorite booth themes yet.

We’ve been waiting for this one… and it’s finally here! 🤎🍂🎄

The brand new IOD Fall/Winter Collection has officially arrived, and I honestly think this might be one of my favorite releases yet.

If you love vintage Christmas, old-world charm, rich botanicals, beautiful moulds, stamps, transfers, and all the creative possibilities that come with IOD, you’re going to have so much fun with this collection.

As always, these seasonal releases are limited edition, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Want to be part of a successful vintage and antique shop right in the heart of downtown Arlington? 🖤

Sassafras Vintage & Gifts is looking for one or two new vendors to join our shop on Main Street!

We’ll soon have a couple of spaces opening up, and I’m hoping to find someone who specializes in man cave, garage, bar or game room type items.

We’re especially looking for things like:

• Neon signs
• Vintage barware and beer advertising
• Vintage gaming systems, games and accessories
• Vintage musical instruments and music memorabilia
• Vintage car items and garage decor
• Unique collectibles
• Sports or racing memorabilia
• Industrial, rustic or nostalgic pieces

The right person will be dependable, energetic, comfortable visiting with customers and available to cover the register 2–4 days a month.

You definitely don’t have to carry everything on this list. We’re just looking for someone with a good eye, interesting merchandise and the motivation to keep their space full, fresh and well styled.

Vendor meetings and interviews will be scheduled by appointment so we can make sure we have time to visit with you and show you the shop. If it sounds like you may be a good fit, we’ll message or email you back with a time to come by.

The hardest part about closing a chapter is saying goodbye to something you've poured your heart into.

After four incredible years, Olive Branch Home Company will be closing its doors at the end of September.

What began as a simple dream became so much more than a business. It became a place where creativity flourished, friendships were formed, and countless meaningful moments were shared. This journey has challenged me, stretched me, taught me, and shaped me into the person I am today. For that, I will always be grateful.

To every customer who chose to shop small, trusted me with custom pieces, shared kind words, stopped by just to say hello, or supported this dream in any way, thank you. You gave this little business life, and I can never fully express how much that has meant to me.

While it's bittersweet to close this chapter, I truly believe some endings are simply the beginning of something new. I'm excited to see where the next adventure leads, carrying with me every lesson, every relationship, and every memory this business has given me.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for four unforgettable years. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

As we wrap up these final weeks, I hope you'll stop by, say hello, and help me celebrate everything Olive Branch Home Company has been.
