It has been a while since I posted. This does not mean I haven’t been busy knitting because I knit almost daily.
Most recent work was for our only granddaughter who just celebrated her 5th birthday!

I asked her what she wanted and was told that she wanted a horse! Hmmmm...ok....what color? I asked and she proceeded to tell me a black horse with a white mane and tail and a white heart on its chest.
So it was not long before I began knitting. Finished up just in time...!
I also made a horse stable shelf to use to store and play with the horse.
She loved it and now wants a daddy and baby horse 🥴🥰

It has been a long time since I posted.
My finger has healed!♥️! I was unable to knit for about two months and when I was able to finally knit I could only knit simple things like baby sweaters. Finally in September I began knitting my soft sculpture items and am thrilled to be at it again! Have completed two elephants, a monkey, working on a giraffe, a very special camel and a zebra and then will be finishing the wizard, dragon and child.
These are commissioned gifts so can’t post pictures just yet...
As usual my creative juices are going crazy niw that I am back at it!
I will give a sneak peek at the giraffe (well her legs...)

Had an accident with the car door and nearly amputated the tip of my finger. My knitting needles will be resting for a while... sorry mr. wizard, dragon and child. I was so enjoying your coming to life...

So thankful that my finger tip was saved. Praying for full motion after it heals.

6 days into 2020 and I am looking forward to many new things to get going on my needles. I have given up keeping track of every project. I have knit whales, bears, bunnies, dragons, dolls, and so much more over the last year. I have also knit about 20 different baby sweaters for the new babies in my world, grands and friends as well as for a great granddollie:)...

There are fewer babies in my horizon this new year so really looking forward to completing many of the ideas that i have swimming around in my head.

I would like to invite you to give your thoughts and ideas for future projects. My personal favorites are those that come from favorite books or movies. I am looking forward to creating some of Bill Peet's characters from his books as well as Disney's Robin Hood and Peter Pan. Might even attempt to make Stick Man...
