An honest look at moving into a tiny cabin 🍂 my husband and I sold our first home together, a home we built the same year we got married in 2018. And we downsized by over 2000 sq ft. This year has brought a lot of change for us. Our tiny cabin already feels like home and I’m so excited about making it beautiful, and turning it into a place where our guests will someday be excited to stay.

I first learned pottery in high school, took classes in college - then put it up for 8 years. So now I’m relearning myself and finding my style. What’s really cool is that I feel like I’m on the precipice of this, after being back at it for a year and a half. I am sure I will always be morphing and growing in this art; I do love changing my mind haha. But I have some common details I keep coming back to. In an art that can be really overwhelming with options, it feels good to me to be narrowed down on certain shapes, clays, and glazes I love. I do have many forms I crave to create, but this is a sloowwwww slow art and cannot be rushed.
