I’ve been putting off making this announcement post, but I suppose it’s time— sadly, has ceased production and is going into the deep freeze.

All of the things that make micro-manufacturing in our current economic climate difficult got even *more* difficult over the past year, and I find myself unable to keep this ship afloat. There’s no one reason, but many. And I know it’s not just my business feeling the pressure, but many.

I’ll keep this account open, I’ll keep our website up, and if anything shifts and gives me the opportunity to maybe do a small drop of hoodies, I’ll let you all know.

We’ve been sorting & saving tiny fleecy scraps for almost 2 years now— everything cuff-sized or bigger gets used in new scrappy garments, but the teeny stuff? Enter ♻️🙌

I’m heading an hour away to pay by the pound to have our scraps get turned into… something! Would it be cheaper & faster to dump this fabric waste at a landfill? I can’t even consider it. I’mma do right by the world with this little business or at least give it my best shot.

👋 We’ve had a nice little boost of followers over the last week, thanks to the partnering and the festival! So if you haven’t met me, hello there, this is Jess writing to you. I’m the founder.

I wanted to create outdoor performance garments for people who don’t feel like the normal stuff out there is made for them.

Maybe like me, you don’t have the “traditional” body type seen in the outdoor world (and for whom most of the clothes out there are made). Maybe, like me, you did not grow up in an outdoorsy family, were a city kid, and you’ve always felt like you had a lot to catch up on to “get the culture” or “look the part” to enjoy outdoor pursuits. I love thinking about fabrics, patterns, and how clothes are made on a small-scale production level. Maybe my clothes are for you!

Looking for the differences between our curvy fit and straight fit?

⏳ curvy fit has a smaller circumference at the natural waist than the chest and hip, giving the torso a slightly nipped-in shape

⏳ the length is a little longer, due to the added lower band (see below the pocket? Bottom band!)

⏳ the shoulders are a smidge more narrow than the straight fit

Oh boy we are not appeasing the algorithm gods lately! Forgetting to post for several weeks? Oh lord. But there’s a good reason: we’ve been SEWING SEWING SEWING & CUTTING CUTTING CUTTING as fast as our little hands can manage, getting some big bulk orders out.

Sooo just leaving this pic here to say that dresses are tunics and tunics are handy for all humans with butts that like to be warm & cozy. Dresses for everyone! Keep the buns warm! Free the legs! Ok, I’m outta here again. 😝
