It is my ritual to get coffee from Allgood Coffeehouse every weekend. While monotony and repetition have frequented my thoughts a lot lately, it still has not motivated me to completely change my habits. I am so glad I didn't. I had a complete fangirl moment when I saw in front of my favorite place in NC! If you don't know who is, take a look at their instagram and their website. Their daily bouquets are gorgeous, but what's really neat is that their pop ups allow you to make your own bouquet. They help you get past the hesitation of picking the right combination and tell you to pick your favorites. With a little trust and Patty petal dust, you have a sweet bouquet that makes your day that much better. What the owners Patty and Duncan have brewing is beautiful and uniquely Asheville. I guess the main point is that ritual does not always equate to monotonous repetition. Maybe our personal rituals are a suprising form of selfcare and an unconscious manifestation of how you love yourself.

The dress is made of layers of tulle and tissue paper with a layer of pieced delicatessen papers. The flowers, petal cutouts and leaf bindings are made of coffee filters. The delicatessen papers and coffee filters were all dyed using different combinations of Jacquard Pigment Dye.
