For my fellow fashion nerds, I highly suggest seeing both these movies as a double feature. Gorgeous costume design! But also, amazing commentary on the fashion industry and how late-stage capitalism is slowly gutting it along with all other art forms. You have been warned lol. Have you seen these movies? The season of Beltane is upon us! Enjoying a stroll through the azaleas at the North Carolina Arboretum. Bonus if you can tell me what the flowers in the first and last pictures are, because I honestly have no idea. For context, the first one is about the size of a toddler's head, with big leaves, and looks like it belongs in South Florida rather than Western North Carolina. And the ones in the last picture look like something out of a sci-fi movie, but I couldn't get a focused close up.
