Sweet Ricardo has been waiting over 200 days for his forever home!!! He came to Asheville Humane Society on July 4th of last year. Through no fault of his own, he was adopted and returned... twice. But, Ricardo is a GOOD dog who deserves another chance!! He had some skin issues at first, which caused him to be passed over for months. Now on a grain-free food, his skin has healed, his fur has grown back, and he looks great!
Ricardo is a 4-year-old Terrier/Retriever mix weighing about 50 pounds. He knows how to sit, loves to play fetch and LOVES treats! We don't know if he's lived with cats before, and he mostly ignores other dogs in doggie playgroups. Ricardo was a perfect gentleman for this photoshoot with Keller Williams Professionals, Shannon Paris, Realtor, who generously sponsored this ad to help Ricardo! Shannon is a huge dog lover and wants to see Ricardo find the loving home he deserves!
An "adoption package" has also been generously sponsored for Ricardo by one of our volunteers who loves him! His adoption fee has already been paid, and his adopter will receive a free metal crate as well as $200 toward training with a certified professional dog trainer!
