Dixie Cupped is a brand of hunting apparel that represents the southern hunting tradition, lifestyle, and way of life. An idea born in a duckblind in the Tombigbee River bottoms of West Alabama, eventually came to fruition in early 2015. Owner, Terence Williamson, is an avid turkey and waterfowl hunter with over 20 years experience in the hunting industry. In addition to managing Dixie Cupped LLC,

he also prostaffs for Zink Calls, Avian X, Plano-Synergy, Mossy Oak, HeviShot, Ol' Tom Technical Turkey Gear, and DRAKE Waterfowl Systems and is a two time National & Grand America Turkey Calling Champion. It’s been a rough week for the West Alabama turkey hunting community! On Sunday we lost Mr. Fox Haas, the patriarch of & the Haas family. Very few, if any, have done more for the wild turkey over the last century than he. The following day Mr. George Shaw went to be with his Lord and Savior. Anyone that claims to be a turkey hunter from Pickens county knows of the legendary George Shaw. Only he and the Good Lord knows how many turkeys he harvested over the years, but I can assure you, he had the respect of all of the hunters that had the pleasure of knowing him. The only thing that he loved more than a wild turkey was the Lord and his family. It’s been a pleasure getting to know Mr. George the last few years and was truly an honor for all of us to go by his house on our way out of town on hunting trips so that he could pray with us over our trips before we left. Please pray for the Haas and Shaw families in the coming days as they navigate through these hard times.
